“Amazing Views” is a delightful double-storey family home with 180 degree water views in Surf Beach, just a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The downstairs Living Room (with 42" TV) provides access to Bedroom 3 (with BIR), a Bathroom (with shower & toilet) a Laundry (with washing machine) and another separate Toilet. There is no guest access to Bedroom 2. Upstairs, the open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with 56" smart TV & a selection of board games) affords magnificent 180 degree water views. Also off this is Bedroom 1 (with BIR) that has delightful water views, a Bathroom (with shower & toilet) and a glass walled sun room. The stunning views (from which the home derives its name) are able to be enjoyed from the Living Room, Sun Room and Bedroom 1.
Outdoor Areas
The large recently extended upstairs Deck allows uninterrupted 180 degree water views and features the stunning 5-seater electric heated spa. The Double carport has space for two cars, with additional parking for another two vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, blender, slow cooker, grill, etc. plus a double sink, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has 4 wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioners; one in each of the bedrooms, and another in the upstairs Living Room, plus one mobile heater stored in the Downstairs Living Room.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 3 beds, plus 2 sofa beds, accommodating up to 9 guests:
Bedroom 1 (upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (downstairs): No access to guests
Bedroom 3 (downstairs): One Tri-bunk, consisting of a lower Queen and an upper King Single.
There are two Double size sofa beds in the upstairs Living Room, each one suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
