SPACIOUS HOME with comfy modern furnishings and a brilliant view over the ocean and surrounding bushland and only a quick walk to the beach, cafe and pub.
LIVING area is generous and comfortable, featuring a large couch perfect for curling up on and reading the paper or watching TV. There is a second living area with TV which provides another space for the kids to play. We have perfect television reception and one TV has Netflix, just login to your account and use your phone hotspot.
KITCHEN is open plan with the dining and living area for easy entertaining. A 8 seater table for dining, and a fully equipped kitchen should meet all your cooking needs.
COMFORT levels are high. There is split system that heats and cools the main living area. There are also heaters in EACH bedrooms. There is a slow combustion fire and loads of wood for warming up on chilly days/evenings.
RELAX while you watch the waves from the wrap around deck, if you get tired of watching local wildlife and the bush surroundings.
PLENTY OF ROOM TO PLAY on our outdoor deck. The deck is surrounded by a flat block and an established garden and shaded by trees with great views of the the water and surrounding bushland. There is an outdoor setting for 6 and a BBQ on the deck.
COOL DOWN or just rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower with both hot and cold taps - ENJOY!
CAR SPACE in Wye is rare, luckily we have 3 car spaces right near the front door which makes it easy to have more than one family stay and NO carrying bags up steep steps!
BATHROOMS are, clean and spacious! There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. One bathroom has a shower over a bath, the other has a shower. There are laundry facilities in one of the bathrooms.
BEDROOMS have pillow top mattresses with pillows and doonas in all three bedrooms.
-Main bedroom has 1QB with huge wardrobes
-Second bedroom has a 1DB and wardrobe
-Third bedroom has two sets of bunks
IMPORTANT: Bed linen, tea towels and bath towels are unfortunately NOT supplied. You will need to bring those from home.
KITCHEN is adequate for a uncomplicated beach house holiday, it has all the cooking and cleaning equipment you would need for a family holiday.
FAMILY FRIENDLY for guests with young children. You’ll be glad to hear that there are no stairs inside and there is a port-a-cot and high chair provided.
RESTRICTION APPLY - Smoking is not allowed inside the house. No pets are allowed.
GROCERY SUPPLIES, newpapers and great coffee are available at the Wye General Store. For larger supermarkets, Lorne is 15 minutes away on the Great Ocean Road and Apollo Bay is 25 minutes in the other direction. In these picture-perfect seaside towns you'll find a range of restaurants, cafes, homeware and clothing stores and cinemas.
