A delightful private retreat located in the original house built circa 1920s. You will be captivated by the original art deco ceilings ornaments along with the two fireplaces and woodfire heater, and surrounding gardens featuring the magnificent Magnolia. The spacious retreat contains 3 fireplaces and, three ensuites, laundry, a full-size country-style kitchen, and a dining area complete with a woodfire heater, and two kitchenettes.
Things to note:
- One box of firewood and kindling will be provided with your stay (for each fireplace). You are welcome to bring more from the petrol station or supermarket.
- Children are welcome to our self-contained cottage, however, parents are advised to watch over them at all times as our property is located within the Dandenong Ranges with tall trees and slippery rocks (nature).
- You will have private use of the self-contained cottage. There are other self-contained cottages that could be rented separately.
- As our property is located in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges National Park, we appreciate that you will understand the garden and landscaping around the suite is a work in progress. We maintain and care for our gardens ourselves because we love gardening; However, the rich nature of this area makes these activities long and constant, especially when battling the dreaded weeds.
- We have a storage shed in the backyard with restricted access to guests. A photo of the shed is provided in our listing.
A deposit equivalent to 100% of the total booking value is required when booking.
48 to 24 hours before the check-in time, we require an additional bond of $400 in case of any damages.
