Moosewood is 100 acres of spectacular bushland, private and secluded, yet around a 10 minute drive to Kangaroo Valley Village. House accommodates up to nine guests. WiFi and streaming available via satellite. Property includes a free Tesla charging station and complimentary late checkout usually available if organised pre-stay.
The architect-designed house is arranged to include families and friends of all ages, for memorable gatherings and special events. It features four large bedrooms, two bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, laundry, and indoor and outdoor dining with gas barbeque. You’ll also love watching the sunset over the valley, sitting up at the large fire pit area which also includes a rapid heating wood oven to fire up that perfect pizza.
Children and pets are especially welcome. Moosewood’s younger guests love kangaroo spotting, the huge trampoline, tyre swings and indoor retro games. While parents are happy that our very youngest visitors sleep and eat peacefully in the two portable cots and high chairs.
Towels and toiletries are supplied as is all bed linen. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have king sized beds, bedroom 3 is a queen plus trundle and 4 is two singles which can be joined on request. All are electricity heated or fan cooled.
The large living area’s ceiling to floor glass walls are designed for enjoying the landscaped gardens and watching the resident wombats, kangaroos and birds including king parrots, lyrebirds and wedge-tailed eagles.
House includes wood burner with fuel and lighters supplied and ready for you on arrival. Fully equipped kitchen includes oven, microwave, dishwasher, two large fridge freezers, and a dishwasher. Small appliances such as slow cooker and food processor will keep home chefs happy. Condiments and oils are supplied.
Home entertainment includes, free to air TV, WiFi, indoor and music sound system. Old school arcade games console, table tennis, fooseball, trampoline, boules and a well-tuned piano to enjoy!
The bbq area and patio are set up for al fresco dining surrounded by landscaped gardens. There is a separate area with a fire pit and a wood fired pizza oven.
The property is pet friendly and has welcomed dogs, cats and even a hamster! The house is surrounded by a fenced area, we do strongly recommend that all pets are watched at all times due to wildlife and under fence gaps.
