Fernglen Forest retreat is Located only 2 blocks from Tatra wedding receptions It is also within a short drive from other wedding venues such as Skyhigh, Poets Lane, Lyrebird Falls, Nathania Springs, Marybrooke Manor, newly opened Mist to name a few. This makes our accommodation perfect for wedding parties or their guests as well as families and couples. Many brides take advantage of the stunning native ground with towering mountain ash as a backdrop for photos Set On 7 acres of lush green native bush with tree ferns and towering mountain ash, if you want peace and quiet, this is for you. We have several private cottages for you to choose from as well as a huge 5 bedroom lodge. The Grand Lodge has 4 queen bedrooms and 1 double bed with single bunk above it & optional sofa bed in the lounge it has 2 lounge rooms each with fireplace open, 2 full kitchens, modern family bathroom and 1 ensuite . This is great for families but great and we often have many wedding groups and low key hens nights etc here. We are a very quiet retreat and request that guests limit the noise outside after 11 pm at night We do not except party groups. It has 2 private BBQ areas and your very own 8 seater outdoor signature Spa. Please note for bookings of 10 or more you must book our Fernglen cottage in Conjunction with the Grand Lodge FREE WIFI Checkin 2pm Checkout 10 AM Privacy, very secluded Undercover Parking for 3 cars New Wall furnaces and Real Log fires. BBQ area TV & DVD and Radio with CD player. Large Bedrooms Iron & Ironing Board Doonas, Pillows, Blankets provided. Linen and Towels provided. Open plan Lounge/Meals area. Verandah with seating and candles Full breakfast provisions provided for 2 night stays for you to self prepare,bacon, farm fresh eggs tomatoes,mushrooms bread, cereals fruit jams etc. Continental provisions only for 1 night stays Please note we base our pricing on 2 pax per room so 6 people 3 bedrooms are open & 8 people 4 bedrooms open ,there is an option to open an additional bedroom at a cost of $50 Note we only take one night bookings during weekdays only on weekend when available. .
