"Blue Waves" is a delightful pet & family friendly home in Smiths Beach, just a quick walk to the ycw beach and a short drive to the restaurants, cafes and supermarkets of Cowes and San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The long central hallway provides access to Bedroom 1 with a WIR and ensuite (with shower, toilet & double vanity), A Family Room (with smart TV), Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 (each with BIR), a central Bathroom (with bath, shower & vanity) and a separate Toilet. At the rear of the home is the large open plan Kitchen (with bi-fold windows to a rear breakfast bar)/Dining/Living Room (with smart TV, Netflix & Amazon Plus) and a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer). The rear Alfresco is accessed from the Living room via stacker doors - allowing seamless entertaining.
Outdoor Areas
The covered Alfresco (with gas Weber BBQ, bar fridge, ceiling fan & seating for 10) also features a breakfast bar into the Kitchen, and is adjacent to a delighful firepit area with seating for 6 (firewood not provided). The fully enclosed rear yard is perfect for pets & children, and also features an outdoor hot/cold shower. There is is parking for 2 cars in the Double Garage plus space for another vehicle (car and/or a boat) in the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, walk in butlers pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso pod compatible coffee machine, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The entire home has zoned ducted heating and a reverse cycle air conditioner in the main living room. There are also ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, in the entertainers Alfresco and a firepit in the back yard (no firewood provided).
Bedroom Configuration
This home has 7 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 11 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 4: One set of Single bunks and one Single trundle bed
There is also a fold out single size sofa bed (stored in Bedroom 4) for guests to use.

Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
