Summary: The pool is lovely, the only downside was that there is no WiFi although we managed to get mobile signal most of the time. It's 10 minutes from Sarlat-le-Caneda which has a stunning old town, it's also 15 minutes from some beautiful gardens, under 30 minutes to several stunning villages built into the cliffs, and an hour away from the absolutely stunning Rocamadour. There are plenty of caves if you enjoy that, Domme is within half an hour, and there are also quite a few options within 30 minutes to hire a canoe down the Dordogne which is a lovely way to see all the castles and villages on the river. There is also a very large supermarket on the edge of Sarlat-le-Caneda 10 minutes away and a local butcher and store that sells bread etc. Overall a lovely place to stay and very well positioned. If you're English you should be aware the communication with the hosts is all in French. But I used Google translate and communicated via text and it was not a problem.
