Summary: The settings was gorgeous, but the property was quite different. Somewhere in the booking we didn't realize how isolated it was. No internet is not a problem, but no emergency phone service is. My husband has a very serious medical condition and would have surely died if he needed medical help. The host message to us was to drive to their place if we needed anything. Don't look at mileage, it's an hour up a narrow, treacherous, winding 1 lane road. The "swamp cooler" was very noisy. The cabin is very small and no sink or mirror in bathroom. It's solar powered so instructions were to not use things like a hair dryer. Again, scenery is amazing if you're ready to go off the grid, but WAY overpriced for what it offers.
