2 Bedroom House in Sunset District, San Francisco
Stay in our home while we're out of town!
This is a rear "in-law" home with a private entrance - off the street and very quiet. We have a spectacular common area garden - patio area with dining table, propane Weber grill, and a clubhouse, sandbox, and toys for kids. Our gardener keeps the landscaping and vegetable and herb beds well tended. Feel free to pick some herbs or snap peas off the vine.
The living room is warm, cozy and inviting with board games and toys for kids. The house is very child-friendly and you are welcome to play with all the toys - and no worries, we understand if something gets broken or lost!
There are two bedrooms - the "grown up" bedroom has two closets and a queen size Tempurpedic mattress.
The kids' room is set up with bunk beds, but it's actually very strongly built with quite comfortable mattresses. Big kids and even teens and adults can sleep there very comfortably.
There is also a nice bright bathroom with tub/shower, and a well-equipped kitchen with gas stove, ultra-quiet dishwasher, and plenty of high-quality cookware.
The downstairs of the home is accessed by its own entrance (there is no interior staircase). There you will find another full bathroom with tub/shower, and high-quality washer/dryer set.
There is no TV, but high-speed fiber Wi-Fi is available throughout.
Our house is located near major Muni bus and train lines. There are some very good restaurants in the immediate area, and the lively 9th and Irving area is a short walk away as well. Golden Gate Park is a few blocks to the north, with lots of trails, boats for rent at Stow Lake, and even a paddock with a half-dozen bison! Ocean Beach and the SF Zoo are very close as well.
