2 Bedroom House in Saint-Jean-le-Thomas

Old house, terraced on one side, built in stone country on three levels, including a living room on the ground floor, a lounge on the first floor and two bedrooms on the 2nd floor.
Connected by a small semi-covered bridge, the kitchen / dining room is in an outbuilding at the back of the house.
The small terrace located behind the house is extended by a raised and closed ground of 350 m2 approximately.

The house is about 1km from the seaside.

The house is located next to the church, in a traditional village with some shops: bakery, grocery, cafe, restaurants, library ...

It is a house of 90 m2 arranged on three levels.
Downstairs, street level, a living room with table, sofa bed and wood stove.
In the middle, a furnished living room equipped with a convertible sofa.
On the floor, two rooms, separated by a removable partition. The first has a double bed (160cm) and the second one has three single beds (one in a drawer).
Umbrella bed gracefully made available for young children. A child safety gate is also kindly provided to secure the stairs.

Shower room with walk-in shower and WC, at the level of the vestibule (level 2).

In the separate kitchen:
Table, dishes and utensils. High chair.

Possible rental of household linen if you wish (10 euros per person).
Cleaning to do before leaving or possibility to do it (50 euros).

Wi-Fi is available for free (box in the house).
We made the choice not to install the television.

In the near vicinity (15 km) many places of walk: Granville tourist city, its ports, its aquarium, its casino and its high city, Avranches and its scriptorial, the tip of the Grouin of the South, Dragey and its breeding horses, Carolles and its beautiful sandy beach, Saint Pair sur mer with its charming village and casino, Champeaux with its cliffs and its point of view on the whole bay of Mont Saint Michel, Genets and his departure for the crossings on foot from the Bay. A short distance, the archipelago of Chausey.
Still in the Manche department: Villedieu les Poëles and the foundry, Cherbourg and the city of the sea.
Just farther west: Mont Saint Michel and even Brittany: Saint Malo and its fortified city, Dinard, Cancale and the tip of the Grouin, Dol de Bretagne, Rennes ...
In the direction of the east: the landing beaches, Caen, the Pays d'Auge ...

Recommended car in Saint Jean le Thomas, but bus line connecting Avranches to Granville by the coast, passing 400 meters from the house.

Summary: Overall we loved the house. It was very cute and had a nice little garden. The only thing was that the bikes did not have air in the tires and 2 of the 4 bikes are beyond repair. Overall beautiful place.
