LA ROQUE is a sympathetically restored old winemaker's house on the River Orb, in the Parc Natural Regional du Haut Languedoc.

With stunning views of the river, gorges, mountains and the medieval hill village of Vieussan, the house is situated in an idyllic location with stunning views directly overlooking the River Orb and your own Mediterranean garden.
The property has been divided into 2 separate gites, completely independent of one another. They each have their own private entrance, private gardens, and their own private river beach....Perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking and just relaxing...
GITE 2: LA ROQUE-RIVIERE (With Private River Beach/ no pool)
La Roque-Riviere is the entire ground floor of the house, with direct access to the river, its own private terrace and beach with picnic area and hammocks and superb river swimming. The renovated accommodation sleeps 6: Master bedroom with double bed, and 2 further doubles with twin beds. A new bathroom (with walk in shower), a very large (brand new) kitchen/dining/lounge area with a juliette balcony overlooking the Mediterranean garden and river. The Games room is the old cave with its original wine press, has Table Tennis, Table Football, and Dart board. Dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, Ipod docks, linen & towels are included, and a cot & high chair is also available on request.
GITE 1: LA ROQUE-PISCINE (Private pool - 9m long with sitting shelf/ ideal for small children). This is our other gite also available for rent. Please ask for details.
La Roque-Piscine has just been renovated with its own pool and private beach with picnic area and hammocks and superb river swimming. The renovated accommodation sleeps 7: 2 double bedrooms, a third room with a bunk bed and single bed. A new bathroom (with walk in shower), a very large kitchen dining area, 2 comfortable sitting rooms, one directly opening onto the terrace. There is a further private rear terrace overlooking the medieval bridge. Dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, Ipod docks, linen & towels are included, and a cot and high chair is also available on request. We even have 4 kayaks available for use by our guests. SAFETY - Please note we provide a pool alarm for children, however it is your responsibility to make sure it is working. Adult supervision is still essential at all times with children.
For larger parties, the whole house can be hired (Sleeps 13).
