This private home is conveniently located off the Mountain Road just one mile to the ski slopes, and five miles into Stowe village. The Stowe Glass House is a 2017 Boston Society of Architects Design Award winner, featured in the winter 2018 edition of Boston Home Magazine, showcased on CNN in February 2019 (video attached), and featured in Stowe Magazine, winter/spring 2022.
The living room features 13 foot vaulted ceilings with a massive stone fireplace anchoring one end of the great room with 180 degree mountain view from three walls of floor to ceiling glass. The over-sized kitchen offers a 6 burner gas stove, large refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, radiant heat floors, and breakfast bar. The abutting dining room comfortably seats 10 in front of a wood burning fireplace.
The master suite includes panoramic views of Mt. Mansfield's ski slopes over the private deck and heated swimming pool. Amenities include queen bed, walk-in glass shower, marble/teak double vanity, and heated floors. Outdoor amenities include huge wraparound decks, private heated swimming pool (May-September), outdoor grilling area, and unobstructed mountain views stretching from the Trapp range to the ski slopes of Mt. Mansfield. A large entry vestibule with custom ski lockers is located off the heated garage and affords plenty of storage space for all of your ski and outdoor gear.
