The order of wineries visited may vary, but below is a sample itinerary.Start off at La Stella Winery with its Mediterranean-like atmosphere. From the terrace, with jaw-dropping views of Lake Osoyoos, sample some of the wineryís offerings, from cabernet franc to chardonnay to moscato. The whites are fruity and influenced by the wines of northern Italy, and the reds are similar to those in coastal Tuscany.At Road 13 Vineyards, sip wine at the imposing castle on the property. Sample some of Road 13ís best known vino, including Honest John Red, named for British Columbiaís former premier John Oliver, who helped develop the Okanagan Valley into the wine region it is today. Head next to Hester Creek Estate Winery, one of the oldest in British Columbia. Explore the grounds of the 95-acre (38-hectare) estate and the large villa, which was influenced by Mediterranean-style architecture.
